Disappearing 9 Patch pictures






Here are pictures that can "walk" you through the development of a basic Disappearing 9 Patch block... remember the starting 9 patch block is made up of fabric squares that are a size of your choice... These are 6.5 inches square.

Disappearing 9 Patch anyone???

Over the last few months we have made a number of quilts using the pattern called the Disappearing 9 Patch (or D9P). In brief a D9P quilt starts with a large basic 9 patch. The individual squares of fabric in the D9P are all the same size, what ever it might be... 5.5 inch squares, 7 inch squares etc. The 9 patch block is sewn together then the magic happens>>>>
